These are manufactured under our own brand and are extremely sturdy, competition-standard and, what’s more, attractively priced! From an elegant harness for your mini pony to an incredibly strong harness for your draught horse, and everything in between. You can count on sound advice. Altijd vriendelijk geholpen! Voor beide pony’s heb ik mijn tuigen en sulky’s hier gekocht. Tjeu neemt de tijd om alles tot in de puntjes uit te leggen en is ook daarna altijd bereikbaar voor vragen. Het assortiment is ruim en er wordt echt met je meegedacht; vrijwel alles is mogelijk. De service is top en je merkt dat er veel kennis en ervaring aanwezig is. Als ik in de toekomst weer iets nodig heb, kom ik zeker terug naar Son. Aanrader!
Ruim een half jaar geleden een prachtige wagen met tuig gekocht bij Tjeu. Dik tevreden over de mooie spullen, goede kwaliteit en zeker ook de service die top is. We hebben een enkel en dubbelspan optie op de wagen en onze Friezen lopen er prachtig voor te shinen. 😁

Bespoke tack at a standard price
The above automatically means that when you purchase a harness from Tjeu van de Meulengraaf Equestrian, you have complete freedom of choice. A bespoke harness at a standard price! Your harness can easily be put together from all the individual components. For example, you can order a full bridle with a cob browband. Or a full withers strap and a cob breastplate. Anything is possible. Please get in touch to make an appointment and bring your pony or horse along so that we can tailor the harness to fit, ensuring you’ll enjoy years of use from a perfectly fitting harness.

What types of harnesses are there, and which one is suitable?
There are many different types of harnesses available. Which harness is suitable for your team depends largely on what you intend to use it for. If you’re entering a marathon with your team, it stands to reason that you’ll choose a sturdy marathon harness. If you drive for leisure or only take part in dressage and agility competitions, you might opt for a slightly lighter, more elegant driving harness.
A plastic bridle? A leather bridle?
Once you’ve decided which type of harness you need, you should consider the design. Will you opt for the convenience of a synthetic harness? Or will you go for leather after all?
